Project availability is determined after reviewing the scope, project location, jurisdictional requirements and required engineering disciplines. Additional insurance or specialty clearance may be required before contract or production.

Proposal and payment policy
- No payment is required before scope and availability review and acceptance of a written proposal.
- Projects at or below $3,000: 100% before production after proposal acceptance.
- Projects from $3,001-$25,000: 60% deposit; balance before final sealed issuance.
- Projects above $25,000: 50% deposit, 30% at coordinated draft, 20% before final issuance.
- Rush service: 40% premium when accepted in writing.
- Site visits, surveying, geotechnical work, testing, laboratory services, and scope changes are separately priced.

Turnaround control
Complete qualified requests received during operating hours target a same-business-day scope response. The written proposal confirms the production start, required intake, responsible-professional availability, review milestones, and final issuance date before payment.
Scope boundary
Architectural design, fire sprinkler and fire alarm engineering, commercial kitchen consulting, utility fees, energy modeling, surveying, geotechnical work, commissioning, testing, and field investigation are separate unless listed.

Engineering services are performed under the responsible charge of the appropriately licensed Grand Street Engineering professional for the applicable project and jurisdiction. Grand Street Engineering does not offer after-the-fact sealing, rubber stamping, or a stamp-only service.
Owner, equipment, geometry, criteria, or scope changes require a written change order. Final issuance remains subject to professional review and required payment.

Scope and payment questions
Does the base package include structural engineering?
Only when structural work is specifically listed in the proposal. MEP and structural scopes are coordinated but not silently bundled.
How fast can the package be completed?
A same-day scoping response is the operating target for complete qualified requests. The production schedule is confirmed in the written proposal before payment.
Is one correction cycle included?
One ordinary AHJ engineering review cycle is included unless the proposal states otherwise. Owner, equipment, geometry, code-basis, or scope changes require a change order.
